I saw this T-shirt with misspelled French on it. It is quite common in Japan. I smiled for the mistakes but also for the nice message that was conveyed : (in an not great English) be the life full of love and smiles.
My grandfather was always saying that life is beautiful. It was a nice reminder.

Here's another "weird" thing I appreciate: How this website (thnx4) is organized. I'm a little nerdy, and I occasionally look at statistics and graphs. When I look at my Insights, I'm reminded of sources of gratitude I sometimes forget.
All those pie graphs and bar graphs actually help me be more mindful of opportunities to either be more appreciative or (and this is much harder) pat myself on the back when someone else appreciates me.

This seems to contradict recent news stories, but I'm actually grateful for technology. More specifically, I'm grateful for what I have learned from technology (ex: how to modify notification and privacy settings, and that all-important Help option!)
I'm reminded that we do have more control than we sometimes think. Others may make it harder for us to discover this "secret." But if we put in just a little more work, it can save time and frustration in the long run.

For this youtuber that put a complete running training for complete beginner with plentiful advices, well explained exercises and schedule online. All for free. I never ran, it was my year challenge. Thanks to his work, it was easy to train from zero and I could achieve an half marathon.
Since I could see the results and improvement, I felt great. It was concrete and when I finished the race, I felt like I could overcome any obstacles.

Had a lovely walk with my husband, his friend from his childhood and our dog. The weather was nice- sunny but not too hot. Afterwards he made us some dinner which we had on the rooftop watching the sun go downS

I am spending time with family, more specifically my father, that is 82 years old and is healthy.
I felt alive and privileged and that I was spending my time in a valid and valuable way.

I had a disagreement with my 24-year-old daughter, which was difficult at the time and left me feeling sad. I have been feeling some generalized feelings of overwhelm and increased stress in my life the past few weeks, particularly with my job, as my caseload is huge, and my patients are very sick. Having a disagreement at home exacerbated my feelings of stress and anxiety.
While it is counterintuitive, I see the benefit of this disagreement in the fact that it opened my eyes to just how stressed out I am feeling. I am already thinking of ways to decrease my stress at work and at home. I already have several ideas in mind, and I took two meetings off of the table in my next week so that I have a little more time to give to myself for things that I want to do, like go for walks on my lunch hour or even try to squeeze in a yoga class.

I like found objects, especially stones and feathers. Today my husband brought me a beautiful white swan feather he found while he was golfing.
This really tickled me because it was so sweet of him to think of me.

I recently had the pleasure of seeing a friend at work. My friend sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers to our department and specifically named people who had a positive impact on her time in out department. She brightened my day, my co-workers day and brought a lovely cheer to the entire department.
I felt appreciated and happy.

A group I've belonged to at work for the past several months has grown, seen work get done and we've learned a bit about each other. I'm just really glad to be part of this group. People I wouldn't have come much into contact with normally that I'm becoming friends with.
sense of belonging; breaking down barriers; being helpful to others in a new way

So grateful for my husband. He thinks I’m beautiful, isn’t scared by me, wants to help and loves me unconditionally. After all these years-omg almost 20
I don’t know where I would be without him

She showed me how to do my job and helped me become independent doing it.
I learned how to do my job very well and the first day she was off, I handled many discharges and admissions well without any issues.

I am a home health palliative nurse and I work with very sick patient's and their families. Some days are harder than others, and this morning started out with my feeling stressed out from the beginning of my day; too much to do and many obstacles in front of me!
My husband noticed that I was looking stressed out, and he let me know how many people appreciate what I do and that it's ok to feel stressed out and, it's not my responsibility to "fix everything" because there's no way that I can do that.

Just being validated by my husband as he acknowledged the stressful day ahead of me was what I needed to hear so that I could reframe my day!

I am very grateful for my job. It has been extremely hard for the people around me to find one at the moment. I am just so thankful for this opportunity I have with my company! So grateful to be helping others!
Makes me feel important and seen for my abilities.
