I left the money I owed CR at work for him.
When he thanked me I felt ..... I'm not sure how I felt.

Browsing the public board and appreciated Lens post. I'm glad you're here, Len. I hope you share some gentle moments of gratitude. :)
I feel encouraged and connected, even though I never have or will meet Len, an internet stranger.

I made fresh caprese salad with plump ripe tomatoes, aromatic basil and nubs of mozzarella from the farmers market. I drizzled it with a heavy pour of olive oil and it now sits in the fridge marinating. I'll have it for dinner bruschetta style
It was wholesome to rinse and slice the produce and savor the textures and smells.

The ideal low key vacation morning - we woke up naturally, had a light coffee and croissant and went to the farmers market where we perused the wooden carts of produce, local honey and olive oils. I bought a bundle of Adriatic flowers in shades of ivory, violet, and sunny yellow, as well as a handful of fragrant basil and several bulging ripe tomatoes. We had lunch al fresco at a restaurant near the market, where we ordered forest mushrooms with couscous and thyme roasted veggies, and bowls of creamy risotto and gnocchi local to the region. Shockingly, the toddler cooperated and behaved but opted for raisins instead of the gnocchi we got him, lol.
Now I have an idyllic memory of exactly what I pictured from our Croatian vacation.

To all the people who have recently posted here. I'm having a rough day and was looking for ways to reconnect and reground. Came across this site and browsed through the public journal. Each posts that you all submitted, made a difference in my day.
Each of what you wrote made me smile, and softened my heart.

I went to my clinician for lower back pain and she recommended I see her chiropractor. I had never gone to a chiropractor before and was a little skeptical, but after a few weeks my pain was all gone! I am not only grateful for my chiropractor AND my physician who recommended her ^.^
I met the woman who is now my chiropractor by recommendation of another physician. My physician's recommendation helped me get the care I desperately needed.

Delicate crumbly vanilla kiflice cookies which look like a handful of crescent moons I snagged for 1 euro (hellz yeah). Pair amazingly with black Turkish coffee, and they melt in the mouth.
Who doesn't love cookies

Appreciating this incredible view of the bay, boats lazily stagnant as the morning builds and tourists slowly awaken.
All I need to do for a quiet moment of reflection and perspective is look up and admire that view

The variety of incredible foliage and trees of the istrian shore
Each morning I get to admire the lush Canopy of vegetation: the silvery green tips and abundant fruit of olive trees, the wide leaves and pale green orbs of the fig trees, tall proud evergreens, and the flowering bushes sprayed with magenta and periwinkle blooms. Oh, and the lush canopy of fruiting vines over the neighbors patio: bunches upon bunches of perfectly picturesque foggy grapes, and even to my surprise, kiwi, spotted amongst the vines.

An elderly neighbor across the street enthusiastically flagged us down and was gushing over the baby. We had a patchy back and forth in French, after unsuccessful attempts in Italian, Croatian, and something else. She gave Everest biscuits and kissed his hand when he shook hers.
She made me feel so welcome and all the social anxiety of a tantruming toddler in a quiet rural neighborhood melted away, seeing how delighted she was to see him.

Fresh fig from the neighbors tree
A first experience having fresh fig, pale green skins that easily give way to reveal a succulent sweet jammy interior studded with seeds that dissolve in the mouth

I had therapy yesterday, and it was very uncomfortable, but helpful.
My mental health issues are slowly being resolved and I don’t like it but I need it.

Morning yoga with my MIL on Monday mornings :) yoga is starting to become a great start to my week and keeps me active and engaged with my Mondays, which I am super grateful for.
I am getting more flexible and have more capacity to do the hard parts of yoga with more ease. I am also leaning on my yoga practices with my daily rhythms. It’s been super nice to have a weekly self-care rhythm.
