Thankful for my dad and everything he has did for me and my entire family. Even if we had differences, his family was important to him and he would do anything he could do to help any of us. I lost him due to covid-19 and it still seems surreal so I'm remembering him and grateful for everything he did for me and my son.
It has enriched my life and has made things less stressful for me when I was afraid I wasn't going to pay bills. He was always there for me.

I had the opportunity a few months ago to join BLE. I started BC in January and it's going so well, I can hardly believe my luck.
I feel happy and am very grateful for the progress I am making. I am learning so much, and will continue to do so.

I was proactive about getting things prepared for the work we have to do this weekend.
Recognized that my hard work doesn't go unnoticed.

I saw a disabled man with one leg sitting in a wheel chair outside the library. It was cold, sunny, and little bit windy. As I passed him when I was leaving the library, I noticed his head was hanging down and he was wearing mittens. His leg was bare and was wearing a shoe with socks. He had on a coat. His wheelchair was not an easy one to maneuver. I went to my car. I watched several people leave the building and pass him by and others going into the building. No one stopped to say anything to him. I saw his head move up. I told myself as I drive by, I'm goin to ask him if he has a ride. When I did, he said a van was going to come get him, but they hadn't arrived yet. I asked him he wanted to go back into the building. He said he was thinking about doing that. I asked him if he needed help. He said that would be nice. I told him I would help him get back into the building to wait for the van. I'm so grateful I did this simple thing for this gentleman. He was so grateful.
Humbling, this was such a decent thing to do for another. There was no need to expect anything. It made my remaining day.

I spoke with my sisters about what we are all going through, I spent more time with them, joked around and played, singing together and told them I loved them.
I felt good because I love being able to bond with my sisters and making sure I always go out of my way to be there for them

this person told me how much he loves me and my personality . My friend also told me how I taught him how to bring himself to peace and that makes me so happy because sometimes hearing about yourself from other people and how you help them feels good.
my friends actions benefitted me because this made me feel good, we have so many good conversations.

I enrolled in an edX class on "How to be a resiliant person". That led me to a class on "The Science of Happiness", which led me to this site. So thank you for the opportunity to express my gratitude in public, to learn more about how people work (a subject I've neglected for too long), and, I hope, to eventually be able to contribute in ways beyond website pixels.
Thank you!
Thank you!
My marriage has just hit its first real crisis; at least, the first one that I recognized. We've been in couples therapy for several months, and I've begun to learn things that I've hidden, or suppressed, or ignored, for too long. Beyond the benefit of my own personal growth, I'm hopeful for a stronger, more loving relationship than ever.

Waking up and seeing the bright sun.
I can only be happy when the bright warm sun comes out. It has been cloudy and raining for this week which does not help with sadness.

I feel grateful for the family that I have because they are the reason why I got the chance to come to the U.S
because my fathers family was here before us we got the chance to come and live here which gave me the chance to get a better education than that I would get in DR.

I feel EXTREMELY thankful!!! I went over a year with Parkinson's like symptoms. I went to several Neurologists, who thought the issues was drug induced, yet the symptoms persisted and progressed after stopping the drug. None would listen to my concerns until I finally found the greatest and most compassionate Neurologist who understood the extreme anxiety this was causing me. He did what the two others could have done and saved me 15 months of tortuous worry of not knowing what the future held for me. He ordered a special brain scan that could determine if I had the brain markers of the disease. This morning I got the news that the test was negative! It is the best news I could have ever received! I thank my Neurologist for being so compassionate and I thank the Lord God for sparing me and creating a miracle in my life. I have everything to be happy for because I now feel I have a bright future again. Never take your health for granted. I know I never will again.
