They invited me to consider their home my home. He offered it as a place that is safe, judgment free and full of positive intentions.
This made me feel safe and secure. I was able to get my homework done in an environment that allowed for full concentration.

I am grateful that today is a sunny day.
It seems hopeful and invigorating and encouraging. It's beautiful and I enjoy it. It helps me know that spring is around the corner and that more beautiful warm days will follow.

A family recently diagnosed with cancer has a solid plan for managing the situation
I am less stressed/worried about this family member. I feel relieved that there is a plan in place and he will be getting timely/appropriate care.

A stranger gave me his jumper on a cold bus after he saw me shivering profusely. I had had a tough few months and I left the bus feeling a lot less lost.

An acquaintance/new friend from a book group I belong to spontaneously sent me a small watercolor she painted with some inspirational words/quotes on it. It was a spontaneous gesture that likely took some courage and vulnerability on her part, and it was very nice to be thought of and to get something that was special and for no reason, just a gesture of friendship and encouragement
It made me feel "seen" and appreciated as a new friend. It made be feel valued

Louise put a lot of effort into planning and organising our MM group.
I will be a part of a support group that will be mutually beneficial and I know I will need this more at some times than others

Finding this platform/forum...
I'm grateful to have this platform/forum as a tool as I "practice gratitude" in my quest to increase my happiness with life in general. Finding this platform/forum makes it easier for me to keep a "gratitude journal" but still maintain some anonimity/privacy. And its so much easier for me to type than to hand-write in a journal. I'm also very grateful for others sharing their daily gratitude journals because it makes me so that I have SO much more to be grateful for than what I initially think about. Thank you to everyone who shares on the forum for helping open all of our eyes! Have a joyous day!

I received a scholarship to take several courses on positive thinking and mindfulness. I'm grateful for the opportunity because, being retired and on a limited income, I could not have afforded to pay to take the courses. These will benefit me personally, and I also hope to "pay it forward" by somehow sharing the learned practices with others in my community.

I received a better grade than I was expecting on a midterm in S315
It benefitted me in that it helped me feel confident for our next midterm coming up next week:)

In a pouring thunderstorm in the dark during my morning commute, I was blindly descending an overpass. Suddenly, there was a burst of lighting and thunder, illuminating quite a big of water pooled over my lane. I was able to swerve out of my lane into a clear one without punching into that water at 40 mph. I felt like a recipient of Divine Intervention.
Made me feel loved by Someone.

I am so grateful my family is healthy and able to be active.
We can get up in the morning without pain and struggles, and be together.
