My wife and I had a conversation where we apologized to each other for something small that happened earlier in the day. It was little, but it made me feel way better.
It helped me feel lighter and more at ease.

In the midst of some pretty rough situations with friends and other stress, it was a wonderful thing to see the children so delighted today after work and playing and dancing.
Reminded me that life is both sad and happy, even simultaneously.

My husband kept mine and out daughter’s dogs and watered my flower garden for 3 1/2 weeks so that we could travel to Hawaii and Seattle for a fun trip together.
I would not have been able to leave our home for this long without boarding my dog and hiring someone to water the plants.

I was grateful tonight when the city bus my daughter and I were catching from a vacation excursion back to our hotel arrived almost on time. Also, there was a nice couple at the bus stop who talked with us and helped pass the time during the 45 minute wait.
It eased my anxiety of traveling on a city bus late at night.

I was thinking of how "beeing positive"... in a subway. An old lady with carry-on and a huge bag (looked lost...), we talk a little, I helped her with her luggage and during one minute, it was a good time.
She conforts me (be positive) and she remembered me to appreciate "children" response to something...

Time with my dog who isn't well. Our lives are busy but my family is home sick right now and today my older dog is also unwell. She is having trouble moving and I felt grateful for spending much time today sitting with her and showing her love. I am thankful to her for all the many years of joy she has given us as a part of our family.
Gave me time to show caring and to reflect on how amazing my dog is and has been for the last 12 years.
